I was born and raised in Indianapolis, and grew up in historic Irvington. I’m married and have 2 daughters.  After graduating from ITT Tech in 1987 with a degree in HVAC, I have spent the last 24 years in the industry. I started my career as a commercial installer, and then became a service technician for a large residential/ commercial company.  In 1993, moved into the sales side of the business, and in 1998 was awarded the “Masters Council Award” for Leadership, Teamwork, Innovation, and achieving over $1 Million in Sales. In 2000, I was promoted to Sales manager and in 2002 was promoted to Operations manager. In 2004, I was promoted to General Manager of a plumbing company and was in charge of doing start up plumbing companies inside of existing HVAC businesses. With the passion for “Green Concepts” I went to work for the largest GEOTHERMAL contractor in the state of Indiana in 2009. As my knowledge grew regarding the “TOTAL” efficiency of a home, I was led to understand the importance of a healthy “Crawl Space” in the overall environment of a home. After months of research on crawl spaces and the concept of “encapsulation”, my interest peaked and led me to install this concept into my own home. After experiencing the comforts of better over-all air quality, warmer floors, and increased energy efficiency, my passion grew, and I desired to share my knowledge with others. I was then led to become an entrepreneur and start my own business, “Crawl Space Solutions of Indiana”, along with my lifelong friend and business associate Brian Taylor.

Vice President / Co-owner

I have been a lifelong resident of Indianapolis growing up on the southeast side. I have been married for 18 years and have 1 daughter. I started my career working for a large underground construction company with first-hand knowledge of how to displace water over 20 years ago. After 7 years in  underground construction, I started a construction management company in charge of building custom homes. While in charge of building custom homes it always bothered me that crawl spaces were finished with laying visqueen on top of the pea gravel. I knew there had to be a better way to stop moisture. In 2003 I went to work for a large Industrial/ commercial construction company, as a superintendent, my duties led me to be in charge of multi-million dollar projects. After helping my partner Ed Kittle install "SilverBack” in his home, I knew this was better than regular visqueen over a dirt or pea gravel floor. I researched the facts about crawl spaces, stack effect, air circulation, and conditioned crawls, and don’t know why anyone would build a home with a vented crawl space. Along with my business partner we want to share our knowledge and passion, “Crawl Space Solutions of Indiana”.

Customer Experience-

Crawl Space Solutions of Indiana,
I wanted to thank you for the professional attitude your company showed from the first visit (Brian) to the end of the installation. The installation went above my expectations. Your installers were absolutely wonderful, and they explained the total process from start to finish. I know I can be a difficult person, your company made it very easy for me. I will be sure to tell everyone about your company. If you ever need a reference, please pass my name on.
Thank you

Brian & Ed,
My sincere thanks for installing a perimeter drain system and sump pump in our crawl space. It has solved our water problem that we have been fighting for years. We will be encapsulating the crawl with your company in the fall
Thanks
